The band offers a music plan for weddings that involves any, or all of 3 parts:
During the ceremony itself, a small group could play as an acoustic ensemble playing the song of your choice.
Early in the night, you will want to play a more chilled / lounge type groove music in the background, to ensure there is constant feel good factor in the room.
Of course, after dinner and the formalities, if you are looking to get everyone straight onto the dance-floor then you really need a serious band! This is where The HUM have earned their reputation - playing music for the dance floor
(& including weddings and other venues)
A strong brief from you is required from to help us get it right, Such as:
including sound/amplification options:
* We can supply all the sound requirements including: speakers, microphones and a qualified sound operator
* We will tailor a sound/performances package that will compliment your venue or occasion accordingly.
* The band can learn 1-3 new and specific songs especially designed for your occasion. Eg: wedding waltz etc. Minimum 6 weeks notice
* The band are capable of playing slick jazz standards if you need a specific mood to be created. There is an extra charge for this unit as this is outside our set list scope and requires extra instruments to be brought to the venue.
* Extra musicians eg horn/string sections. There is an extra charge per extra musician to compensate for extra rehearsal and co-ordination and to make sure we get the best available musician.
* If the venue you have hired cant have a full band – we can make arrangements to tailor your needs. But you don’t get the full HUM experience.
* a DJ service to compliment the band can be provided when you don't want live music or have special requirements.

posters, invitations/flyers, web presence for event, camera operators and editors
The HUM are self-managed, with no middle man, admin-staff or agents, and so you are guaranteed to get maximum 'bang for your buck'.
